July 18, 2016

I am not sure what day I am on any more. I got lazy on the documentation. I have stuck with everything else thus far. I am down a little over 11 pounds which is nice, I am not sure if I can really feel it much in my clothes. But that could be due to the fact that leggings are forgiving.

My biggest frustration has been my inability to lose weight during the week. I just can’t figure it out. I think it is a combination of eating late and eating higher carb and fat foods. If I don’t eat or drink anything, i.e. I am sleeping in, until 2 or 3 then I lose weight. I am hoping R can get on a better schedule for a little while so we can eat dinner earlier. I also know I should be eating a much leaner dinner. I will work on that…. eventually….

Day 10

Well my weight has gone up to 231. This could be I am sure from a lot of factors, including what I ate last night. I am still struggling to choose options higher in protein, lower in carbs and fat.

I go in for a second B12 shot today, I am going to make an attempt to monitor how I feel and see if there really is any difference.

The not losing anymore weight is a little discouraging. Granted I know I shouldn’t expect so much rapid weight loss. But a girl can hope, I mean I have been hoping almost everyday for the past 20 years that I would miraculously wake up thin, and with a high metabolism.

7/7/16 Food:

Breakfast: Chocolate Soy Milk

Lunch: Superfood Side (small), Grilled Nuggets (8)

Day 4-Day 9

Well it was a holiday weekend which meant that I had more time off, I also took an extra day off. I was concerned of losing track or overeating and I don’t feel like either were necessarily an issue. I was much more consistent on weighing myself. As of this morning I weigh 230 lbs. I was hoping to have gone down a little more since yesterday, but I didn’t. I am trying not to get discouraged because 8 lbs even if it is just water weight is quite a bit. I may be eating too little which could contribute to the scale not moving any the past two days.

My big thing so far has been not telling myself that I can’t have a certain food. When I do that then all I want is that food and I binge on it. So I can have whatever I want I just cut the portion. Overall this has worked pretty well. I know that I am not getting my Macronutrients where they need to be which will be my next focus, along with drinking more water. I have been making small strides toward cutting down the amount of sweetened drinks I have and increasing water. I will order both at a meal out, and sip slowly never finishing the sweetened beverage, typically never even having half. I also make sure I order a water and drink quite a bit before the meal starts or I have anything sweet to drink .

Day 3: Weightloss

Day 3: 7/1/2016

Weight: I ran out of time the stupid Keurig was taking forever.

Yesterday I got my B12 shot, other than not being prepared to show a stranger my butt it was good. I think it gave me a little boost of energy as I went full steam cleaning at my mom’s from 3:30-7:00. I decided against a normal snack as they don’t have many options at their house, I didn’t want to cook anything, or go anywhere. Granted what I chose a Cola, wasn’t the best option. I drank it slowly over a few hour period.

I still had quite a few calories left over for dinner (700) so I got to have a pretty hearty dinner. Something I need to watch out for since the point of this is to shrink my stomach. I need to be snacking more during the day and be able to eat a little healthier at night. Finding low-cal non gross snacks is always a challenge. Especially when you are looking for a well-balanced snack.

I did wake up with quite the sore throat this morning. I am not sure if it was just from being dry or what. I am hoping that I am not getting sick, as that is what typically happens every time I start eating differently. I decided to forego the chocolate soy milk this morning, and had hot green tea with honey and some apple juice. As of now I feel better there seems to be a slight twinge in my throat but nothing too bad.

We are about to go into a holiday weekend. Which I will have off Saturday – Tuesday. That is a lot of time to not eat well. The only good thing is I will sleep in most likely and only be awake for two meals a day.

On a completely unrelated topic. I really want to go lay out somewhere. I have stipulations though I don’t want too many people, if any people around. I prefer not to get a parasite, or be attacked by any living creatures. I would love to have a boat and go out on the lake. But since R and I are hermits we don’t know anyone that could provide that for us. Bummer!

Breakfast: 40z Unfiltered Apple Juice, Green Tea with 1.5 Tbsp honey

Lunch: Steak Soft Taco

Snack: Ham & Cheddar Lunchable

Dinner: Spicy Chicken Tenders, Mac & Cheese, Sweet Tea, Green Beans ( I ate most all of the chicken, half the Mac & Cheese, a few green bean, and maybe a 1/4 of the tea)

Day 2: Weightloss

Day 2: 6/30/2016

Weight: ?

So far so good, granted it is only day 2. This morning I did wake up having a gallbladder attack. I am hoping losing some weight will help with these issues. I attribute it to the amount of fat in my dinner the night before. I have been exploring some holistic options when it comes to treating an attack and am still skeptical on whether or not they do anything.

Finding something for lunch was initially a little bit of a struggle. I know I should be bringing things from home, but that little bit of time away from the office is necessary and I am lazy. I mean who wants to spend all that time prepping lunch for the next day, and when you do something like a frozen dinner it never turns out to be what you feel like.

Today I go in to have my B12 shot, I am hoping that will give me a little extra energy that I have been lacking.

I haven’t decided when I will weigh myself. R weighs himself at night and when he first gets up. I am never diligent enough to do this. I can’t remember shit in the mornings.

Overall I feel decent. I get a little jittery in the morning, similar to drinking a Starbucks on an empty stomach. But other than that and some dry mouth nothing too bad (still having to remember to drink water).

Breakfast: Chocolate Soy Milk (6 oz)

Lunch: Popeyes Blackened Chicken Tenders (3), Cajun Rice (1/2 container)… No dipping sauce and I threw away the biscuit

Snack: Sprecher Cola ( I know bad choice)

Dinner: 2 Pieces Honey Wheat Bread, 1 Egg, 6 pieces thin sliced ham, 1 Slice Low Fat Mild Cheddar, Frozen Hash Browns (1 cup)

Day 1: Weightloss

Day 1 6/29/2016, 238 lbs

Yesterday I went to a weight loss clinic, I am currently the heaviest I have ever been and needed help. Though I should be able to do it on my own, I haven’t found any success in it. I lack the dedication, and perseverance that it takes to eat little and exercise a lot.

I was given an oral appetite suppressant, probiotic and eventually will receive b12 shots. Now I know that it isn’t necessarily the healthiest way to go, but it isn’t healthy to be this heavy.

I pulled up My Fitness Pal, and it showed my weight 49 months ago, 152 lbs. It was heart wrenching to know that I had almost gained 100 lbs.

So I have a set calorie goal, 1200-1500 calories. I have set makeup of macronutrients 35% carbs, 35% protein and 30% fat. R is insistent that I increase the amount of protein and feels that the initial recommendation that was given to me at the clinic was far too low. So I did as requested and upped it.

As far as the medication goes, I only took a half dose this morning in an attempt to ease myself in. It does make me a bit jittery but I haven’t felt like I could eat an entire pizza alone, yet. I struggling to remind myself to drink lots of water, always a huge struggle!

At this point I am hopeful, yet skeptical. I struggle with following through and being accountable. I am hoping the medication gives me the bump I need, that R wanting to be healthier and being more calorie conscious will all lead to greater success.

Breakfast: Chocolate Soy Milk

Lunch: Broccoli Beef with Mixed Veggies from Panda Express (this ended up being mostly broccoli, so I didn’t eat all the mixed veggies)

Snack: 1 Egg, 2 Pieces of Turkey Bacon, and 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese

Dinner: Fair warning I know this is a horrible dinner but I had a ton of calories left over. KFC 3 Chicken Tenders, Small Popcorn Chicken, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy.

Overall I still came in under 1500 calories and found myself not being able to finish everything. My main indicator that was I hungry at dinner time was that I was feeling crabby and run down.

Day 1 complete!
